Eight of us came and spent 5 nights here over New Years. This place is amazing! The photos don't quite do justice to either the quality and spaciousness of the home, nor the stunning location and view over the mouth of the Tairua estuary. There's a large, sunny deck overlooking the channel, and walking access directly off this down to swimming and kayaking off the front of the property. The house itself is large, modern and very well appointed. The main living space is a huge, well-furnished open plan room with a terrific entertainers kitchen, and opens right out onto the deck, with great views. Upstairs the 3 bedrooms each have amazing views out over the estuary, and to the hills beyond. The beds were comfortable and everything was really clean. The two bathrooms are modern, including a great bath in one, also with views. It's a truly beautiful, very well-designed home in a genuinely stunning and unique location. We couldn't have asked for more for our little group - our stay was perfect - thanks Gabrielle!
