The Bower was everything it was supposed to be! My wife and I wanted a quiet, laidback getaway for our one year wedding anniversary and the Bower delivered just that! Check in was super easy, and Tami and Lyle were both very respectful, personable, and easy going. The land was really nice to explore on a quiet, intimate walk. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking for a reset!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor or the rustic, quiet nature of everything. I had also picked the place because of the artistic nature of the inhabitants and that did not disappoint either. I hopefully will get to go back so!!
The Bower is the perfect place for a reset - the surrounding forest is beautiful, and space truly encourages creativity, rest, and a general sense of peace. I would recommend it to any artist looking for a retreat, or anyone who wants to just get away and spend time with their thoughts for a few days.
We returned to The Bower for a New Year’s recharge, and it was just perfect! Cozy and unplugged- definitely a hidden gem. :)

I'm 55 and an entrepreneur that has created many organizations and businesses. I live in Moncure NC (piedmont of NC, near chapel hill). I am currently creating the Chatham Beverage District in Pittsboro, an up and coming quirky destination for families and events with lots of out door space. I am a sustainability nut and really love local food. I also love aesthetics and high thread count. I love color and things that smell good. I love long deep conversations with friends and watching the bats and dragonflies and fireflies around our home. I am grateful to live in an amazing community of natural resources, amazing sweet people and a depth of spirit.
