I am so sorry to say, but this was NOT the place for us. We knew she had cats, but upon entering the house, the strong ammonia smell from the litter box was over powering. And if that wasn’t bad enough, there seemed to be a cloudiness in the air from all the cat dander. The smell & dander was less upstairs. We had brought our dinner only to find out we were not allowed to eat upstairs. We were told we could eat at the dinning room table but that was right by the kitchen where all the cats lived, so we ate standing outside. There was excessive dust/dander upstairs & cat hair all over the blankets, even though the cats were supposedly not allowed in the guest rooms. We don’t even have allergies, but became congested & started sneezing immediately. We would have left and gone to a hotel but for some reason, all the hotels were full, which is why we stayed at Michelle’s place to begin with. If you have any kind of allergies whatsoever, this is NOT the place to stay.

I just HAD to stay here, again! I was in town, visiting with my mother, and I walked the many flowers and garden areas at this super-wonderful AirBnb ~ I can't wait to make some beautiful watercolor paintings of the profuse colors and greenery in Michelle's garden! I have been so inspired by the love of history in this 100 year-old home. Michelle is a creative, amazing person to have put all this together! A hot soak with perfumed salts gave my body and soul rest. If you didn't book here, you're missing out!

I SO ADORE this place! The history and stories that each of these vintage and antiques pieces tell is just wonderful! Michelle has applied such creativity and love to the furnishings and decor of this wonderful 100 year-old home. I appreciate everything ~ her attention to detail, the extra kindnesses and thoughtfulness, and the COZY, warm bed! I'll be back!

I booked this bed and breakfast for a short getaway weekend for my wife’s birthday. Michelle was the perfect host going above and beyond with decorating the room prior to our arrival with flowers and a birthday sign. The breakfast was exceptional especially the homemade muffins. If you’re a cat lover, this place is definitely for you. We enjoyed getting to know all their little personalities during our stay. Thanks Michelle for a lovely weekend!

This home has a convenient location. The two kitties we saw were lovely -- and neither tried to get inside our room! Super clawfoot tub. Our main concern was that the bed was extremely soft. Michelle provided clear instructions and was easy to access. Thank you, Michelle.
