I would not recommend staying here. The location is great with the pool and hot tub (if they work) it had everything we were looking for until we walked in and put our bags down. The lower level theater room and bedroom smelled of mold making the rooms unusable. The second day the leaks started first in the living room lucky there were 4 totes conveniently stored under the piano so there was something to catch the water in, then it leaked in the laundry room and in the dining area .We were told the leaks were from not running the pool correctly then it was from the rain but when we couldn’t use the pool for 3 days because it was broken then the rain stopped and water kept dripping from the ceiling it was clear there is a bigger issue that was not being addressed. Along with batteries missing in the smoke detectors, dead bugs in the kitchen drawers, mold in the gasket of the fridge doors, no way to wash dishes besides dishwasher that did not work are just a few other reasons.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay as there we’re many issues with the house. The roof in the living room was leaking in multiple places. When we arrived at the house there were 5 large bins placed in the living room to catch the water. Because of the rainy weather throughout our stay, even more leaks appeared. This became a dangerous situation as the leaks were in the kitchen, dripping onto appliances and causing electrical shortage. How the house didn't catch fire is a miracle. On all of our complaints to fix the issues, the only solution (aside from placing bins to catch the water) was to shut down the microwave. The house is outdated and falling apart. Unless it's fully renovated, dont stay here.

Amazing house with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Location is perfect as it is right in front of a small beach and a 5 minute walk to the larger Newport beach. Good restaurants in walking distance. The house is set in a private area of the Balboa peninsula which feels safe and quiet despite being a tourist attraction. Kid friendly (game/movie room & personal pool). In all a perfect house for larger groups/families looking for a relaxing time yet close enough to Disneyland, Golf Courses etc. which makes other activities easily accessible as well. If the budget works HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This place was simply stunning! The roof top pool and hot tub were amazing with views overlooking the harbor and ocean in the distance. The home was fabulous with lots of space to spread out. Loved the theater room and all the beautiful views. Five minute walk to tons of restaurants, desert and coffee shops - anything you want.
