Matt's House of Love is just that: a magical place where you take a rest from everything you know and refill your cup. It is perfectly situated surrounded by redwoods trees, stunning views, forest sounds by day and total tranquility by night. This property is not just a place to stay whilst visiting Mill Valley. It is the destination as you won't want to leave there. There is a place to swim, a place to soak, a place to sweat and a place to forest bathe in the most literal way. All around are spots to sit and rest and enjoy the views. The building's remarkable architecture is so engaging that you find yourself studying the many circles, stars, angles and straights. It is very photogenic. The kitchen has everything you could want to cook even the most elaborate meals. The heart of the house is the living room with its massive fireplace and places to lounge. We played music with the instruments that are so generously laid out. We played and puzzled and sunk into the fluffy rugs and blankets. A 25 minute hike along the Cascade Falls and through the wondrous forest roads of Mill Valley will take you straight to the heart of town. Ariana, the caretaker, who also lives on the grounds, welcomed us so warmly and showed us around the quirky workings of the house. She was always available with questions we had. Best part of the morning: Waking up and seeing the sun shine through the trees across the living room, you wake up in a tree house! Best part of the evening: Whiling in the barrel sauna followed by a bath in the tub, looking up to the stars through the canopies of magestic trees. What a week to remember....

Enjoyed every minute that we stayed here. It was so peaceful, so beautiful. Words cannot explain how amazing this home is, from the location of the home to the beautiful layout. There is no tv in the home so it really makes you appreciate the nature all around you. Hope to stay here again, I already miss it.

An amazing space in the woods with plenty of sunlight. Very close to a great waterfall. Unique home - lots of fun.
