Welcome to our cosy home on a hill that overlooks lakes and forests in southern Stockholm! We're a family of four who love meeting new people and having people stay at our place. Our house is situated in a quiet area close to metro service into the city centre. Breakfast is included in your stay. Your room is on the second floor and has a double sofa bed (slightly smaller than queen size) and a desk. You have access to a shared bathroom, with toilet, sink, and shower.

Very nice and cosy home, with very welcoming people who like to have travellers at home! Beautiful and very quiet son! The house is about 30 minutes from the city center, the explainations are very clear on how to reach the place! We felt like at home ☺️
Great hosts! Baked bread for us in the morning and offered us breakfast. Very scenic location for nature lovers. A ten minute walk from the metro and a 30 minute train ride from the city center.
Elin and Anders are amazing! Their hospitality is incredible, we really felt at home. They really care and help out with all kinds of things, whether it is historical background about Stockholm or medical care. 😊 And Elin is an amazing writer, don't miss out on reading her book! Thank you for everything!!
They are quite friendly and nice people. They helped about everything to us. It couldn't be better. I recommend everyone who wants to see Stockholm. Transportation to the house was also pretty easy. The house is pretty close to the metro station and way from house to station has amazing view of forest and tranquility. It's a great place.

Our neighbourhood is quiet and secluded, with a lot of nature in all directions, while still being close to shopping centres and 30 minutes from Stockholm city centre by metro. Around here you can enjoy lakes (beaches available), a large forest, the activity area Flottsbro with skiing in the winter and beach, canoeing, frisbee golf and more in the summer, or Kungens Kurva, one of Scandinavia's biggest shopping areas including IKEA, malls and Scandinavia's second largest movie theatre.
Public transport is available a ten-minute walk from our house, with metro into the city centre (30 mins) and buses to other places such as Kungens Kurva. Commuter and long distance train station Flemingsberg, with trains to Arlanda Airport (50 mins), other parts of Stockholm, and other cities, is a 15-minute bus ride away.
Guest parking is available in our area (5 SEK/hour; 50 SEK/24 hours).

We met in August 2007 when Elin moved to Stockholm where Anders had already lived for four years. We quickly became really good friends and could talk about everything with each other. In May 2008 we became a couple and two years later we got married. After finishing our studies in teaching and nursing and moving from northern to southern Stockholm, we had our first son, Aron, in April 2016. In December 2017, our daughter Lisa was born. We love having people in our house. We really enjoy meeting new people and making sure they feel welcome and have a good and relaxing time in our home. We both also really enjoy travelling and meeting people from other parts of the world. Two of our favourite trips have been interrailing in Europe and a trip through China. We've also spent six months in wonderful New Zealand as a family, helping out at a mission organization and seeing the beautiful country.
