Cozy house in great location. Central to both Beech and Sugar mountains. Spacious living areas. Host was great! Would stay there again!

Great mountain home very close to beautiful mountain town of Banner Elk. We loved the many details and decor through the house. Master bedroom was very comfortable as well as other bedrooms in the house. Basement was fantastic for family and friend gatherings. Proximity to Lees McRae college campus made it an ideal spot. We’ll return!!

This vacation was booked 1 Year in advance. Our hopes and expectations were high but unfortunately half of the house did not have heat. I think if the house had been properly checked before our arrival, it would have been obvious that the heat was not working. The first one to check the problem misdiagnosed the issue and we were without heat in half of the house for 5 of the 6 days there. Although spaces heaters were brought in, they were not enough to warm the areas when the temperature outside was in the 20’s. We were definitely disappointed that our vacation was not what we had hoped for and wish the management team had checked the property sooner to make sure the heat was working.
