What a relaxing time we had. It was quiet and quaint. We loved taking the dogs on the numerous trails and the scenery was beautiful. A perfect little get away. We'll be back in the winter. I can't imagine how pretty it will be with the snow and wood stove going. Thanks again!

Came here with my girlfriend and our dog, and we all had such a great time. The property was peaceful and private, with room to explore and lots of neat features. The craftsmanship was truly mind-blowing and beautiful. Rick was kind enough to meet us at the property and show us around - you can tell he put a lot of himself into what he built here and was (and should be) incredibly proud. He stayed in touch throughout but was kind and not at all intrusive. Croghan isn't far away for anything you might need, though the place was thoughtfully and reasonably stocked - still pay close attention to the listing though as the cabin is pretty off-the-grid and again, made by hand. No wi-fi and little cell service, but we loved that. We had a relaxing time grilling, reading, playing games, chatting by the fire, and exploring. Highly recommended if you're the "back to basics" type, or just feeling adventurous.
