Our stay at Castro Marina was wonderful. The apartment is ideally located to everything and is literally right across from the ocean. There is an awesome roof deck where you can watch the sunrise in the morning or the transition of Castro from day to night. There are plenty of restaurants and eateries to choose from and it's well worth the hike up to old town & castle. The apartment is well equipped, clean and comfortable and Maria was the perfect host. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wouldn't hesitate in returning or recommending it to anyone.

Maria Cristina é stata semplicemente fantastica dall arrivo alla partenza. Accogliente, premurosa e disponibilissima. Casa bellissima, silenziosa, nuovissima e tutto ben pulito con due spazi relax riservati e cucina super attrezzata. A meno di 5 minuti a piedi dal meraviglioso mare di Castro con parcheggio auto riservato, fondamentale della piccola cittadina di Castro. Da tornarci sicuramente. Host e struttura consigliatissimi

Gorgeous house, very clean, very nicely decorated and with lots of things to make your stay easier and help you feel at home. The location is just a short walk from the little port area (with access to the sea via step ladders), Martinucci's (for pasticciotti, ice cream and drinks) and lots of good places to eat out. The house is quiet as it's slightly set back from the sea front and, in addition to the communal terrace, has a private outdoor seating area at the entrance to your flat. Maria Cristina was really helpful, particularly when we had issues with our hire car, and provided a true taste of Salento hospitality. She did more for us than we would ever have expected from an Airbnb host and I wouldn't think twice about booking here again if I were to return to this area of Salento.

Cristina's place was absolutely perfect. It is very spacious and the location is great. Cristina is an amazing host that went out of her way to make me feel very comfortable in her home and in her town. I have stayed in many Airbnb's over the years, in multiple cities and countries and this was definitely one of the better experiences.

Soggiorno impeccabile. Siamo stati ospiti per una settimana ed era tutto perfetto. Casa accogliente, cucina completa, raffreddamento a pavimento ottimo per chi non ama dormire con l’aria condizionata ma ha affrontato temperature sopra i trenta gradi a Castro… e per completare la simpatia e disposizione di Maria Cristina. Torneremo l’anno prossimo!
