Thank you so much for hosting us in your fabulous house! The house was everything we expected, & then some more! The beds were firm & comfortable & the showers always hot, the kitchen had everything we required, the 75 inch TV was awesome as was the surround sound system! We did a BBQ in the lower garden & we carry with us beautiful memories from the spot! Your staff were very friendly and responded with big smiles to all our enquiries & helped put together our meal! All in all, we will definitely share our wonderful experience with our friends & relatives & recommend to them your house whenever they are in Arusha. Muema Kitulu

This house and the whole compound is big and made of high grade wood (maybe mahogany). There are hardly any mosquitoes or flies. The owner did a great job on that. The house and entire compound are very clean. My kids loved it. Cons: the owner needs to improve on communication, including about Wi-Fi usage, etc. The owner left his family photos in the house, which kind of ruined the vacation mood everyday we had to look at that reminder we are in someone else’s home. Also, the master bath is ok, but not big enough, especially the very small vanity/sink, to match the beauty of the house. The time of the year we were there was very cold and no good heating options in the house. Overall: the stay was worth it. I highly recommend this place.

Chris’ house is an excellent stay in Arusha, with plenty of space inside and outside including a lovely garden. He is also a very responsive host. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at the Masi Hill Villa. It is a beautifully designed, spacious property that met our needs perfectly. It is very homely and has all the conveniences. Chris is very responsive and is at the end of the phone should you need anything. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. The outside space is so pretty and peaceful. This property has no A/C but it's absolutely not needed. It is so lovely and cool all day. I used cardigan in the cool Arusha evenings. We wanted a restful retreat after a safari and that's what we got. It's not in the centre of town but Arusha centre and supermarket / other amenities are less than 10 mins drive away so no problem at all. Someone else mentioned the area and it may not suit everyone...the property is in a village and we loved being around the warm and friendly local people; we experienced the local hospitality. Currently it's a rough 'road' to get there but I hear this is temporary and the drivers know how to navigate it in the meantime. This did not detract from a wonderful stay for us.

Chris’s place is amazing, warm, cozy, homely and quite clean. . It’s in a serene environment and a good place for quiet family vacations or with a group of close friends. You are sure to enjoy your stay.
