Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Rose Cottage with Julie a very friendly host. Even our grandchildren were made welcome, feeding the animals, playing in the backyard and climbing the treehouse. Warm and cosy with great lighting for reading. Our host would turn on heating and lights for us before we returned each evening.

We had wonderful night in the cottage. I loved waking to the sound of the animals in the paddocks in the morning. Julie was so lovely, we had everything we needed. Thanks for such a lovely night away.

For us Julie's place was perfect for a few days stay near Christchurch. we loved the location as it was easy to get into the city by car, and easy to go the other way to Arthur's Pass. The space is quaint and comfortable. You can't really make a meal there, but you can improvise. And the setting is just lovely.

Staying here was lovely! Julie accepted our spontaneous booking right away and the detail she put into everything at the little house was worth admiring. A perfect rural retreat worth every dollar!
