We had an amazing time at Michael’s place - the apartment is great, the hosts were really warm and friendly. Apartment is fully equiped, we even found some beach umbrellas and lots of snacks prepared for us! Highly recommended!

Our family has really enjoyed this Airbnb stay. The apartment is located in the very center of Agios Nikolaos, with dozens of indoor/outdoor restaurants, lake-front live music, sea harbor within 1-2 minute walk distance. Two things that surprised us: 1) the noise insulation is fantastic, our kids couldn’t hear any sound from outside (including live concerts) and 2) how safe the location is (we felt comfortable walking to restaurants at 11 pm), the city is clean and friendly. The apartment is very clean and had everything we needed for a large family: well equipped kitchen, plenty of space and furniture to work, play, and relax. Private outdoor patio was great. The hosts welcomed us with delicious ice-cream, and a well stocked kitchen including fruit, bread and milk. They were available and responsive, and made us feel well cared for, even pampered. Compared to two other locations we stayed on Crete this visit, this one by far was the most amazing and enjoyable. One note for people arriving by car: giving the very central location, it’s virtually impossible to find free parking. A better strategy is to use one of several paid parking lots a short walk away (€5 per day, the cycle usually ends at 9am, can extend to noon for additional €3).

First and foremost, Michael and Irini are the most welcoming, hospitable hosts one could ask for. They are kind, respectful, and so helpful. The apartment is right on the lake in the most amazing area of the city. Its very comfortable with a great balcony, super clean and they even left us some goodies to enjoy during our stay. We 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

What a generous hosts Michael and his wife are! We enjoyed everything about our stay at the apartment. Beds were very comfortable and clean. The apartment had everything we needed, incl. some foods and wine in the kitchen. Very central location. Just a couple of minutes walk from Agios Nikolaos Port, lots of shops, cafes & bars near by. Cafe12 on the ground floor, owned by Michael´s family, is the perfect place for eating. Food was excellent! Very nice view of the lake and the best ice cream in town!

We were taken aback by Michael and Irini's hospitality and generosity throughout our stay. The flat is perfect, the location is perfect and the hosts are so amazing they make the experience incredibly special. Best Airbnb stay we have ever had. I can't recommend this place enough! Michael and Irini are the best! Our daughters loved the balcony and the ice cream from Michael's shop, Cafe 12 below.
