We enjoyed our two nights in Di’s lovely farm environment. We appreciated its remote, peaceful location—and its proximity to Brecon, Hay, etc. We also appreciated the equipped kitchen, and being able to do laundry since we were on the road. The Mill House is large and somewhat quirky. We took tremendous care at night not to knock our heads on the beams above the bed, and not to trip on the odd stairs to the bathroom. (It’s not for the mobility-challenged!) The tub/“shower” configuration also took some effort… but then again, the hot water pressure is like nothing I’ve ever experienced! Di was a friendly host, and we’re grateful that she left us some eggs, milk, etc. Overall a great stay.

We had a lovely Easter break at Diane’s cottage! Very spacious, clean and well equipped! The surroundings were so peaceful and we got to the start of our hikes to Pen y Fan and the Black Mountains within 30 min by car. Would highly recommended!

Mill House was spacious, warm and very well equipped. The breakfast items were very welcome and were a pleasant surprise. The area was very peaceful with good views but it didnot take long to visit Brecon and surrounding area.

had a great weekend here, we'd come to explore northern beacons after mainly doing southern beacons previously. Close to Pwll y Wrach which is a nice short walk with a nice waterfall. Easy drive to Pen y Fan which is about 20 minutes away. I forgot our thermos to have tea on our walks and Diane kindly lent us one, many thanks.
