We came to celebrate my 60th birthday and had the most amazing time! Our 2 dogs were in heaven. We were too. The home was absolutely beautiful, clean, well equipped with everything and then some! The rocks were a little tricky but found the concrete steps with handrail only a 2 minute walk away. It was the best vacation we’d had, ever! So much so that we ended up staying an extra 3 days because we just didn’t want to leave!! We can’t wait to come back!!! Highly recommend Safehaven. Amazing, awesome, perfect.

Overall really good - we came down with 4 kids and 3 adults and we enjoyed our stay! A few things that could be improved, the sheets aren’t the best, and the knives in the kitchen need to be replaced (super dull and couldn’t be sharpened). The kitchen was very well appointed, lots of plates, pans, cups, mugs etc - we weren’t missing anything. View was great as well! One thought would be to clear some space at the front of the house for a fire pit or seating area. The BBQ is also probably in need of replacement, was quite rusty. Overall it suited what we needed for our trip - lots of movies and games to keep us occupied and the beach was great!

Due to an unexpected extreme snow storm I was not able to make the reservation. All highways to the beach were snow packed and unsafe to drive. Vacasa will not refund and is very firm in their stance towards the cancellation policy. They were responsive but not helpful or understanding of extenuating circumstances that is out of your control. I was not able to reschedule for another time either. Airbnb specialty team asked if Vacasa would consider a refund but Vacasa declined. I would reconsidering your stay if anything could ever come up. Be prepared, as soon as you book they will automatically accept offer which allows no time for you to cancel if plans need to be changed.
