Great cabin and hosts! Everything worked great and we loved hanging out on the deck.
The place was amazing. Private yet close to the main road and less than 10 minute drive to town. It was cozy and had lots of entertainment for the kids. My doggies loved the yard and were very comfortable. Vicki and Dave are very responsive and have great communication. The beds were cozy. Really enjoyed everything Teddy Cloud had to offer. Kids love the game room! Amazing hosts!
Awesome place to find peace an quite, you can quick travel to Cloudcroft and find amazing places to eat. My family and I enjoy this place. I feel safe taking my dog with the nice fence space that they have. Definitely will come back again.
Teddy Cloud was AMAZING! Totally surpassed my expectations. I already know I loved the area after passing through a couple years ago, but actually staying in Cloudcroft was so great and Teddy Cloud was the perfect location to visit all the great spots but still have the experience of a secluded, cabin stay in the beautiful Lincoln Forest! The cabin was cozy, fun, and had ALL the amenities! The beds were comfortable and the cabin had lots of nice little things to make you feel right at home (games, movies, books, snacks, etc.). It was just perfect for my husband and 13 year old over Spring Break! We loved it so much we decided to extend our stay, wanting to stay another day at Teddy Cloud… but unfortunately it was already booked and I understand why! We’ll definitely be back!!
We loved the fenced in yard for our pups to get some exercise and overall how pet friendly the property is. We also loved the nice private feel. There was a nice wood burning stove for a cozy fire in the evenings, and a fully outfitted kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes and accessories we needed to enjoy meals in. The porch was great for getting some fresh air and watching the mule deer meander. Everything was as advertised and clean up/check out procedures were clear.

About Dave and Vicki Moffatt Vicki and I lived in Georgetown, Tx and retired to New Mexico. I'm a Boston native and she's a Texan-so we have an interesting time figuring out each other's accents! I retired from the leadership development field and Vicki taught voice privately as well as Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Visiting the cabin 3-4 times a year to stay and vacation, and work on our cabin, is one of our favorite things to do. Vicki is a highly creative and hard-working renovation 'hobbyist', and along with other tradesmen, this property took over 4 months to renovate after purchase. She can't live without a project! Me-I'm the janitor and handyman. We don't have any kids, but we do have three dogs. We purchased Teddy Cloud property in 2009 and set about to put our touch on it and make it all the things we love so we hope you love it too! Why Dave and Vicki Moffatt chose New Mexico When I first moved out west from Boston I ended up in New Mexico, and used to ride my motorcycle up into Cloudcroft. I promised myself I would one day buy a cabin in the Sacramento Mountains, and finally did it! New Mexico is a special place for us-my Mom and lives in Las Cruces. Cloudcroft is a perfect getaway for us because it's so small and relatively undeveloped. Getting up to the mountains is something we plan for and anticipate all year. We really enjoy having a much shorter drive to our cabin now. We love New Mexico and hope you'll love it too! Dave and Vicki Moffatt
