Thank you Galina! the hotel was special! when we arrived were alone in the entire hotel, very colorful) all fashioned in one style, the feeling that you are in the castle. the view of the mountains is stunning! if you are looking for silence this is a terrific option! and super price!
Galina's apartment is great. It located in mountains so you will get the great view. You will get a warm welcome even if she can't welcome you by herself. We got a bottle of delicious vine and fruits. Strongly recommend this host) Thank you for everything!
Galina was very nice, it was very easy to communicate with her. As for a place, appartments are comfortable and clean, water from the tap is tasty (this is a big deal in Cyprus!). The biggest problem was mosquitoes that knew how to get in the room even there's a grid on all the windows. But it is nature, you can do nothing about it. The place, Koilani - well, you know where you're going. Koilani is a village (1 km from Koilani Gardens) that has a shop, tavern, winery and free wifi. Public transport is messy, if you don't have a car (like we didn't) the best thing is to ask locals, in every step. E.g., this how it was our trip from Koilani to Limassol. The bus goes two times per day (7.40 and 15.40), we waited for the first one, but it didn't come to the station where it used to go. So we missed it. Then we walked to Pera Pedi that is about 3 km away from Koilani, then asked locals where the station is and they said to go to one coffee shop and wait there, because the bus is usually late and bus driver always stops by the coffee shop to pick people from there. We waited nearby, saw few peoples waiting. The little bus came full and late. When I asked how much should we pay, they said - nothing, because we will need to get to the next one in next village Trimiklini where Limassol bus goes. So this free bus takes all the passengers from nearby villages, get them to Trimiklini and then you go your next thirty-something kilometres to Limassol. It was local and quite fun experience, but really - ask the locals. They are friendly, half of them speaks English and they are ready to help.
If you expect luxorious accommodation - forget it. But if you are a traveller, you can definitely enjoy the stay for a few days. The room is good with high ceiling. The terrace offers breakfasts with a scenic view. You can find good pubs in the nearby village with nice people. What more can you ask for the price. For me and my wife it was nice and pleasant stay.
