The house has subtle decoration but provides plenty of comfort. Outside there's a pool and wooden deck for nice relaxing and fun days of summer. There's also a BBQ area to enjoy a nice meal and wine!

Ana fue muy amable. A mí llegada la ubicación de Airbnb en mi G. Maps (tengo Android) salió erronea y me dijo un punto para venir a recogerme. Realmente la ubicación de la casa es de fácil acceso. Esta en un barrio tranquilo, al lado de la casa hay otra con otros 2 perritos que ladran obviamente si vas con uno, pero en seguida se calman. Como indica ella en el anuncio hay que llevarse champú, gel y producto para limpiar la vajilla si quieres a mano. La temperatura era ideal dentro de la casa sin necesidad de ventilador. La casa y patio es fiel al anuncio y sobre todo agradecí que admitiera a mi perro de 30 kg. A 10 minutos de Silves (preciosa) y con todo lo que necesites Atenta y muy simpática. 100% recomendado!!!

I was very much looking forward to our month-long stay here, but on arrival I met one challenge after another and left after 1 day. Pool not available on arrival because of (late start with) cleaning and chemicals. Chair at dining room table broke while my mom was sitting down - almost got seriously injured. Sofa’s look moldy and stained. Bed sheets were stained - we slept on top of clothes and coats we brought with us. Towels provided were old and crusty, did not use. Dishwasher was dirty/moldy. Salt/pepper set was rusty (and empty). Toilets were stained. Toaster dirty. A/C in second bedroom didn’t work. One patio door didn’t open. Hostess said because of missing guards - we are adults, don’t need guards. I suspect it’s because that terrace overlooks her (private) backyard. Communication about all issues was difficult, hostess kept telling me she didn’t list the missing amenities and was not going to provide them, until I forwarded screenshots. This experience gave me trust issues.

Très bon emplacement, proche de tout. Piscine plus grande que sur les photos. Logement propre et fonctionnel Comme lu dans des précédents commentaires, effectivement il y a des chiens chez les voisins mais qui n’aboie que très rarement Hôte très disponible et accueillante (de plus, elle parle bien le français)

A great plac for bio food lovers - fresh eggs can be found in the local market, regional products such as olive oil, various types of ham and cheeses as well as “Medronho”, a traditional fruit brandy from Portugal. Enjoy a freshly pressed lemonade from trees while watching the sunrise and indulge in the bio-products found in the local market or the organic farm shop.
The Villa is located between the historical city of Silves and the center of Lagoa, a well-known municipality for its wines, sumptuous beaches, including famous “Carvoeiro” beach, championship golf courses, tennis club and water park. The sandy beaches have been recognized internationally as being one of the finest in the world. Dip into the clean sea from a hired boat from the Portimao Marinha or the well known Vilamoura Marinha, which is a short drive of 20 min away. You can also do a kayak tour on the open sea or enjoy a sardine barbecue on one of the charter boats, traveling along the coast.
There are numerous shopping opportunities in large malls as well as exclusive boutiques. Have your hair and manicure done in numerous beauty salons and take part in Yoga classes or lift some weights at the gyms nearby. Take your “little” ones to see the dolphin show at “Zoo Marine” or animals at the Lagos Zoo. A great day at the mini golf course can be finalized with a visit at the nearby located sand sculpture museum.
You can discover the “wild” Algarve by doing a jeep safari or downhill mountain-biking from the top of the “Monchique” Mountains.
There are scheduled bus rides to Lisbon, Cascais, Estoril, Fatima and Porto.
You can book a weekend getaway to neighboring Seville, Spain, experience live Flamenco shows as well as admire the unique Spanish architecture or take a selfie with a monkey in Gibraltar.
Faro International Airport is 30 min motorway drive away, several golf courses can be reached within 10 min, beaches are 15 min away and supermarkets 10 min. The city of Portimao can be reached within 15 min, having skydiving opportunities and an International race and go-kart track. The most South Western point of Europe ("Sagres") is reached within 30 min.
