Rose Cottage is an ideal escape to the beautiful surroundings of Exmoor! The cottage is within walking distance to walks with incredible views and is also conveniently located to the small town with a lovely pub. Katherine was an amazing host and was extremely responsive and helpful in informing us on the surrounding area. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and would love to visit again!

Traditional cottage in the amazing countryside of the Somerset. Well located in Exmoor national park. Very nice for young kids as they can see a lot of animals.

Great experience! I stayed for almost two weeks with my kids. Beautiful location, clean cottages, affordable rates and helpful hosts. There is a decent pub 10 minutes walk away and lots of perfect little towns to explore within 30 minutes drive. Communication with the hosts was easy, and despite there being 6 cottages you can easily forget that you don’t have the place to yourself. We will be back.

Little Quarme cottages have the most beautiful aspect and views. The cottage was just as described; warm and comfortable and well equipped. Nick and Katherine were very welcoming and lovely to chat to. Covid has affected so much but they have worked safely and clearly within the restrictions, whilst still making one feel very welcome and at home. The shared outdoor spaces of the pond area, gazebo and croquet lawn, although not for us the perfect season for use, really added to our stay. We walked directly from the cottage up to Dunkery Beacon and back which was a lovely 4 hours round trip. The local shop in Wheddon Cross is well provisioned. We would definitely return.

A gem of a place!! Quarme is in a beautiful setting of Exmoor and the countryside is stunning!! We stayed in Rose Cottage and stayed for 11 nights, we soon made ourselves at home and loved sitting on the terrace in the evening overlooking the hills! Rose Cottage was comfortable and cosy for us, and felt at home for our whole holiday! Nick and Katherine were so welcoming and had so much knowledge of the area! We recommend the Bridge Inn in Dulverton too!!! Thank you again Nick and Katherine!!
