Jacci is definitely a super host! She met us to help check in & show us around which was super helpful. The home looked exactly as described. Jacci checked in to make sure we were doing great & went above & beyond to make our stay great. She is what every host should be! Cheers!

Fabulous lake experience. Best deck ever! Host provided s’mores were unexpected and so considerate. Jacci provided breakfast fixins as we arrived late in the day. Just at the top of the driveway was an incredible veggie farm stand. Fresh and affordable. A totally relaxing week on the lake!

We sadly departed Heck-of-a-deck yesterday after a one week stay. We arrived at 4pm and Jacci was there to greet us. One of the best qualities about the house is the privacy. You cannot really see the house from Lake Road; it is on a private drive. I rented the house based on it's location on Cayuga Lake and it did not disappoint. Jacci spent some time showing us around the house and reviewing things to do in the area, and she responded immediately during the week, when we needed her. Overall the house was very well stocked, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. We took advantage of the grills, fire pit and kayaks while we were there. It was nice to tie up to the dock and float in the raft. For future guests, we did stop at Wegmans in Auburn and stocked upon groceries for the week knowing that there are very few markets close by, and Jacci surprised us with some goodies upon arrival too. This was a great find and provided us with the R&R we were looking for. Thank you!

We had a great week at Heck of a Deck. The place is aptly named – the covered deck is awesome. We spent much of the week just relaxing on the deck with family. Kayaking was fun, especially the tandem kayak. The house is nicely decorated. The window air conditioning units kept the house cool. Also, the location was quiet at the end of the private driveway. We made several trips with our grandson to nearby Long Point State Park (a 5-minute walk), and also took advantage of the hiking trails at the park. The nearby wineries and brewery were fun. We had some issues with the washing machine, and the internet wasn’t very fast, but Jacci and Virgil were very responsive.
