Could not have chosen a better place to stay than this beautiful place. The history that it wraps itself in is amazing. The views are beautiful. You feel right at home from the beginning. This is a 10/10 recommend for our group. This has been hands down my favorite spot that I have ever booked. I love the rustic, country, peaceful and serene setting. Made me feel at home and many of us were able to relive some childhood memories just by the decor. Tara was amazing to work with and answered any and all questions we had. She checked in on us to make sure we were settled and got in easily. We look forward to another booking in the near future.

Awesome house. Our families loved it. The lake was still low as described but we had a blast metal detecting and looking for gems… we also found two arrowheads. Great cabin vibe.. love the interior doors.. felt the mountain cabin life!

This is such an amazing gem! The cabin is loaded with history and activities. We loved the trails around the property that led to a full view of the lake area. Tara was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. She even put in a new water system before we got there. Tara answered all our questions promptly. We definitely plan on coming back during the summer time to enjoy time on the lake!

The history of the home drew us. The cost for the bedrooms was good. The cabin was unique and interesting. I love that it is 200 years old and much of the original cabins. The lake was virtually empty so our ideas of reading on the dock with a hot drink and looking out at the lake was not possible. The hot tub was not clean and there were no chemicals available. The coffee pot did not work. This place has so much potential and it needs some TLC and upkeep practical things guests would expect.
