I lived here for 5 months while I worked at Dhulikhel Hospital. For working at the hospital the location was great and this is the cheapest place I could find online for Dhulikhel. It is closer to the hospital than the Dhulikhel Hospital guest house and so my walk to work in the morning was only ~5 minutes. The view from the roof is really pretty and I woudl sit there in the evenings and read and watch the sunset. At first the host would also help me learn some Nepali for my time here and we would do lessons on the roof. This house is operated by Sitaram and his wife who are the parents of the host on Airbnb, Kiran, who lives in Australia. Sitaram speaks english but left for business in Europe for most of the time I was there. I usually ate upstairs. The food is good and most of it is grown in the garden outside. My one problem besides the toilet not wanting to flush sometimes was a monkey that kept taking corn from the garden. He saw me as a threat and would sometimes chase me down the hill. I would highly recommend this place for someone looking for a cheap place to stay in Dhulikhel, especially for long periods of time.
