A true 5 star air bnb. The best we have stayed at by far. Robert and Joanne were responsive before arriving asking us if there was anything we needed on our stay. It was nice to speak to the hosts before arriving. Upon arriving Robert greeted us, told us a bit about his home and where instructions were. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked and it was a lovely touch to have some milk in the fridge! The bathroom was a good size and very clean with an abundance of towels. The bedroom was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows and a really comfy bed. Location is great being only a few minutes drive away from Bideford. Robert was around during our stay and was extremely friendly and welcoming. We also loved meeting Rufus, a definite highlight of the trip for my boyfriend. We could not recommend staying here enough and will definitely be back when in the area again.

Robert and Joanne’s place is a tranquil home away from home. Creatively decorated with beautiful artwork on the walls. We slept really well in this peaceful location and would be sure to stay again if in the area :)

What a place! Everything was exactly as described and the kitchen has everything you need in it - everything for us to cook a Christmas roast dinner in fact! The living room is really cosy and the place felt like a home away from home. Jo was very friendly on arrival. The drive is tricky as others had mentioned but after a couple of goes it was easy. The location is great - feels out in the sticks but it isn't really. It was perfect for us to visit family in Instow, Fremington and Westward Ho easily. There are loads of board games to play inside for when it is raining. We will be booking this place again as we had such a lovely stay.

The House from Jo and Robert was absolutely great. We felt very welcome and our daughter liked the pets very much. Very understanding and friendly hosts. Also we could use the really nice garden. It was a pleasure to be with them and would come again if we’re in the area once again!

Absolutely stunning surroundings, spotless accommodation lovely friendly couple, little piece of tranquil paradise. Dogs cat and chickens all very friendly too! 😂 Would love return. Heavenly for a chilled week. Thank you
