Welcome to Casa Monte Bella! Our lovingly restored farmhouse was built in 1906 and restored to a very high, modern standard, whilst keeping the character of the house. It's a real family home with a wonderful piano room, large kitchen diner with adjoining sitting area and two sets of patio doors that open out into the garden. The pool is gated for your peace of mind and the electric sun awning provides that much needed shade during the day and keeps the house naturally cool. Our home is perfect for families, particularly if you have little ones, because we have all the equipment you need as our son grew up in this house. The portico is where we sit for hours in the evening as it's a perfect place to dine under the fairy lights, and once the children are in bed you can return there for a nightcap secure in the knowledge that you will be able to hear the children if they need you. Our house is situated on the edge of charming Bergamasco, and enjoys far reaching views across the countryside and hills from every window and the garden. Our village is home to the most amazingly friendly and helpful people and if you're out and about in the village, and you happen to tell someone that you're staying in Gabriella and Michael's house, they will bring you fresh produce from their gardens and allotments and locally produced wine, but don't try to pay them! They love to bring gifts. The village boasts an award winning butchers, a pharmacy, a general food store and a fresh fruit and veg store. We also have a number of cafes and, to save the best until last, we have SOMS, where Rosita will serve you the most delicious food prepared to order by her very talented husband. As you can tell, we are enchanted with Bergamasco and everyone that lives there. We hope you enjoy our piece of paradise too.
