This beautiful home is situated on Heron island in Sanctuary Lakes Resort. Enjoy the tranquil views of the lake from the patio by the lake. The room has a private balcony overlooking the water. Easy access to Melbourne CBD, Tullamarine Airport or Geelong/Great Ocean Rd by car or public transport. Ideal destination for a short get away or spoil yourself while in town on business, as well as longer stays. No access to main kitchen. Microwave, kettle and fridge provided in room. The room is located upstairs on the first floor the island with a private attached balcony with ensuite. Queen bed, flat screen TV within the room with free to air TV. For your convenience tea and coffee, microwave, toaster and kettle available in your room.

As our first Air BnB experience we were a little uncertain, however Katharine and her family were wonderful hosts - friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was exactly what we were looking for (and exactly as described) and suited us perfectly for our 5 night stay, and the location was very accessible for our needs around the western suburbs. We will definitely book again next time we travel to Melbourne, and will be trying that recipe for curried beans! Thank you so much for your hospitality! Daniel and Jocelyn

Amazing hosts, we felt right at home with excellent hospitality and kindness. Perfect place for a beautiful relaxing getaway. Very close to restaurants and supermarkets. Great being outside of the city but still only a train ride away from the city centre and things to do.

The Sanctuary Lakes Resort is surrounded by manicured lakes and its very own Greg Norman designed golf course with its very own 24/7 security and regular patrolling of the streets providing a safe and secure environment.
Residential traffic only, no through traffic.
Shops are near by at the Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre located close to the entrance of Sanctuary Lakes estate. The Point Cook shopping center is also close with a larger range of shops, cafes and restaurants.
The bus stop is short walk from our front door and can either take you to your chosen local destination or to the train station where there are frequent trains to take you anywhere in-between to the city and beyond.
25 minute drive (unless in peak hour) to Melbourne CBD via the princess freeway, we recommend downloading the Waze – GPS Navigation & Maps app to stay up to date with real time traffic updates and proposed alternate routes to get to your destination on time.
45 minute drive to Geelong, 2hr and 20 minute drive to Great Ocean road, Apollo Bay and Philip Island which are all popular tourist destinations.
