It was a true pleasure to bask in Peggy’s hospitality. I won’t stay anywhere else in Madison. Great place - so much character. Fantastic dogs. My only recommendation from here is make sure you bring Peggy a bottle of Champagne when you check in! Cheers!

Location, historical architecture, beauty, and comfort are all a part of the experience at Livingston Inn. Our host, Peggy, made our stay special with amenities such as complimentary wine and beer, phone charger, and free premium tv. Special requests were accommodated with courtesy. Our weekend at the Livingston was one we will remember for a long time.

This was my first bed and breakfast experience and it was phenomenal! Peggy was an exceptional host, very helpful in every way possible and also just great to meet and talk to! The property is gorgeous and very interesting, and also kept extremely clean. It seemed like every detail had been well thought out: the very tasty breakfast, comfortable and well decorated rooms, an extremely easy check in and check out process, and even great shower products! Would 100% recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful property with access to Lake Mendota and awesome sunsets. Peggy is a most Gracious hostess who maintains the Livingston Inn with impeccable cleanliness, delicious breakfasts and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Conveniently located near UW campus and State Capital building and a wide variety of great restaurants. A must if traveling to Madison or surrounding areas. Thank you, Peggy, for making our stay special... We will return
