This was a very good value for money and spacious cottage for our needs, as a base from which to explore the surrounding area. Although a little outdated in places, it had all the basic amenities and provisions needed. The shower over the bath was unexpectedly like a power shower - the best shower I've had in a long time! I found the kitchen was also very well equipped for preparing our full cooked breakfasts before we ventured out, but I do like my coffee so I did miss a coffee machine. We had 2 criteria when looking for a place to stay - free on-site parking and a king size bed. The rural location was great, with a gated entrance, shared drive and parking right by the cottage door. Our only disappointment was the size and comfort of the bed. Unfortunately, it was not a king size bed.

The cottage was an absolute pleasure to stay in. It is finished to a high standard, clean and with all the amenities you could want. I am working in the area and will definitely stay there again when it is available.

I met Holly on arrival, who was very welcoming and nothing was too much. The Bungalow was very accommodating and situated in a very secluded beautiful area. I liked it that much I am staying the week after my stay.

We really enjoyed our visit to Holly’s lovely cottage. Holly was an excellent host - welcoming and friendly, thoughtful, and considerate. We’re looking forward to our next visit!
