We were in town for the Derby and Abby did an incredible job of getting us into the house, writing up a very easy set of instructions, and making us feel welcome. Not only is the house spectacular, but Abby is one of the best hosts I have had the pleasure to visit. The house is large and can accomodate a nice sized party. We had eight guests and it was easy to sleep all of them. There are two important things to mention about the house. First, the kitchen is large and easy to be in. The whole feeling is warm and friendly and that became our primary hang-out area. Secondly, the seated area outside is incredible. There is a covered area with an outdoor fireplace and then a non-covered area with a fire pit. In between the busy social scene at the Oaks and Derby, this was a nice place to put our feet up. I grew up in Louisville, so I can vouch for the location and what an incredible house this is. Abby, also, does Louisvillians proud. I highly, highly recommend this listing.
