The house is great - but after-stay communication spoiled the experience The spacious house and nice garden was perfect for our small family with a kid. We didn't complain at all even when we found the swing for kids shown on the garden's photo was missing (remark: photo now updated after our reply to his complaint), and we were informed only one day before our arrival that the clothes dryer doesn't work (which was one of the reasons we were choosing this place- who wants to hanging up their clothes during holiday?!). However, the owner sent us a long message to complain after our 16-day-stay, such as we used their kitchen brush to clean the BBQ grill - which was supposed to be cleaned for the guests in the first place. We threw away all rubbish, washed all dishes & towels that we used, vacuumed the floor etc. during our stay and before our departure. The host has double standards as the house was just average clean when we checked in (we did not complain, too), for example the vacuum cleaner was full of dust and we emptied and cleaned on the first day. They are expecting the guest to conduct a deep cleaning for them before check out, even we have cleaned it generously. You can consider living in this house if you are ready to pay market rent and also be a cleaner during your well-earned holidays. We would have enjoyed the stay so much more if the after-stay communication would have been more considerate and balanced.
