Nina and Ajhit went over and above as hosts in looking after us. As well as picking us up at the airport, we were given a lovely lunch. A driver was organised for some local sightseeing at short notice and also arranged our train tickets for our onward journey, which made it very stress free. Nina's place is a short drive from the airport which made it particularly convenient. WiFi was good which is important to most guests these days. Would highly recommend.

Nina’s passion to host is genuine and priceless. She was really helpful to ensure I get to experience all the things I set out for my trip. (From arranging taxis, trains, keeping my baggage, picking me from airport late at night when her Husband is available to do so, cooked local meals and etc). I’ll definitely recommend you to book with her, especially if you’re not familiar with Sri Lanka. Her listing is also close to the airport. Thanks for contributing this enjoyable trip.

Nina is such a great host and make us feel so good on our arrival day in Sri Lanka! She and her husband picked us up from the Airport and cared so much. The room was very cozy we felt very well. Moreover, we got some good (but spicy :D) food and some lunch for our driveway. You are so lovely, thank you for Everything and we hopefully see each other soon! First off, there is nothing negative to say about this place. From start to finish the hospitality and service was so great. When we arrived we were treated like family and when we left we were sad to leave our new home. The bedroom was great, bed was soft and comfortable. The area was secluded from noise but a short walk to the Main Street of Ja-Ela and to transit to get you into Colombo in no time. The hosts were always available and helpful with anything we needed. And they provided all meals if you request it. And the food was delicious. Both of the hosts have been in the hotel and hospitality field for many many years and so their understanding of other people’s needs and comfort is excellent. We never had an issue and always felt at home here. If you have a chance to explore this area, stay here as it is an experience you won’t want to miss.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Nina went over and above to ensure that I had the most comfortable stay. Including picking me up from the airport, as she knew I was coming alone! Her house is situated in a perfect position for anyone's first night in Sri Lanka, right between the airport and Colombo city. The breakfast was also amazing! What made the stay was Nina herself, she gave tips on possible day trips, arranged all my transport for the following day and was so welcoming and kind. I feel privileged to be her first guest and would recommend her place to anyone. I will definitely be coming back!
