We spent two wonderful weeks at Jean Francois‘ place. We enjoyed it very much. The pool is great and the surroundings are beautiful. Jean Francois was easy to communicate with and provided for everything we needed. Even picked us up from the bus station. The apartment is well equipped with everything necessary. Supermarket, restaurants and bus station are just a ten minute walk away. We didn‘t have a car and mostly took the bus to go places which worked fine. The train station is further away and the way back is a strenuous climb.

We received a warm welcome from Jean Francois who provided us with helpful information for our stay. The modern apartment completely matched the photos and description. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The kitchen was generally well-equipped and Jean Francois promptly supplied a few missing items we needed. The rooms stayed cool on hot days. The lush setting and sitting and eating out on the terrace was very pleasant. The swimming pool was great. The house is located on a quiet street across from a small park with a panoramic view across the town. Driving around Grasse is tricky with narrow winding streets and quite alot of traffic, but it’s a 15 minute walk downhill to the Office of Tourism and the old center of Grasse — longer and harder work, of course, on the return. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment for anyone visiting the Pays de Grasse. The only significant thing we felt could be improved was the refrigerator which we found unduly noisy and disturbed the otherwise calm of the main room. When we mentioned this to Jean Francois he said he planned to replace it.

Zum erkunden von Grasse und der näheren Umgebung mit dem Auto, ist die Unterkunft sehr gut gelegen. Da sie in einem Wohngebiet liegt, kann es vereinzelt zu Baulärm kommen. Die Wohnung ist angenehm kühl und hat viel Charme und Esprit, sowie eine interessante Buchsammlung. Auch benötigte Kleinigkeiten, sowie Fernseh- und W- LAN Einstellungen wurden schnell und einfach geregelt.

Appartement très agréable dans une belle maison au milieu d’un beau jardin méditerranéen. Jean-François et son épouse sont des hôtes très attentifs. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine.
