We had a wonderful stay! The house was fabulous, our kids had a blast fishing off the dock, and having the canoe and kayaks and paddle boat there was fun every day! Definitely a return trip!
Great house right on High Lake. We rented a pontoon for the week and it was perfect!
This place is a gem! The house had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. The location and the view were truly amazing. We took our kayaks out on High Lake 3 times during our stay, and enjoyed several of the other nearby lakes. Boulder Junction is 10 minutes away and super convenient for last minute supplies, fire wood, etc. Top notch wild life - bald eagles all day, beavers, loons, and many more birds. Loved it and hope to return in the future!
Only problem was the air conditioning not working. Not sure if it was supposed to work, said we had air but nest thermostat seemed to be locked out and when we tried to get communication to see what problem was the texts started but never got resolved. we just left it at that. Otherwise place was perfect and exactly what we needed.
We loved staying here! Beautiful views! Quiet and secluded but close enough to town if you need anything. We loved using the canoe, coffee on the deck, watching wildlife on the dock (loons, eagles, otters, turtles, etc), and relaxing and playing games in the house when it rained. So clean and cozy! We will definitely be back!
