Very quiet and restful. We do not like tourist places and enjoy tranquil atmosphere. If you like restaurants within walking and lots to see and do this would not work for you. If you enjoy the countryside and don't mind a short drive to little town of Hudson you will find ample restaurants and a beautiful walking trail along the water.

Steve is a charismatic, nice person and his property is beautiful. He was welcoming & he showed us around once we arrived. Our room was lovely; beds were so comfortable and I appreciated how there was a desk for me to work at. The bathroom was so clean. Steve made coffee every morning & had fruit & cinnamon rolls for us as well! We really enjoyed our stay. :)

We booked an AirBNB for my friend and I so that we could catch an early flight to Minneapolis. Getting in contact with Steve was easy and he is very friendly and responsive. His house rules and directions are clear and the space was very cozy. When we arrived, we were able to call him and get instructions on where to park and we were able to enter his home without delay. When he arrived, he helped us set up the couch and reminded us that breakfast would be available for us even though we had to leave around four thirty in the morning. He was very charming and polite and we felt very welcome in the home. The property looked nice and I wish we would have had a chance to appreciate more of the home. Will definitely be coming back in the future if I need a quick stop again!

Steve was a great host. We got in later than we expected due to a busy day/evening in Stillwater. When I woke up Steve was in the kitchen with coffee and cinnamon rolls available.
