Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay here at the Shepherds Retreat. We loved how peaceful and remote it was - and the beautiful view! Everything was spotless and tidy when we walked in, and we instantly felt at home here. We are already thinking about coming back! The hot tub was ready for us when we got there and was perfect for unwinding after a long day in Harrogate. The log burner kept the hut warm and cosy also. Julie was a lovely and responsive host, and she even left us some chocolates and a bottle of prosecco in the fridge! Which was a lovely thought. Overall, this was the perfect way to spend our Valentine’s Day and we would love to come back in the Summer :)

What a beautiful stay! Julie was a great host and was really responsive and proactive. Shepherds Hut was gorgeous in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend if you like nature, long countryside walks then followed by a chill in the hot tub and a cosy night in front of the log burner!

We couldn’t have asked for a better, more relaxing, place to stay over the weekend!! The hut had everything we needed and more, it was cosy and peaceful, and the views were absolutely gorgeous ♥️
