This is my favorite place I have ever stayed. It was totally last minute, I reserved it during the bus ride to Tena. Showed up, didn't know what to expect. Indy at the front desk was so kind and sweet and quickly set me up with some of the most incredible all day tours and activities I have ever done (great price too, >$60 each). The rooms were private, I had a king bed and my own shower with pretty warm water. Only when finally laying down in bed did I remember that I had forgotten my damn suitcase on the bus. Indy was a huge help, making phone calls to the bus. Fausto, the tour guide who I spent the entire weekend with, quickly arranged a taxi ride back to the bus and helped me get my suitcase back. Tours with him through the jungle were incredibly, he has done this for decades and knows absolutely everything about the area. We drank beers at night and trades stories over meals. Other people in the hostel also signed up for trips and I was able to make friends fast. I couldn't recommend this location enough, I ate a delicious breakfast of coffee, eggs, fruit and bread each morning for $3! Everyone I met was so sweet and helpful, I would come back here in a heartbeat, 1000000x stars.
