This is a lovely Villa in a very quiet non- touristy area of Spain. We arrived late (around 9:45pm) but despite texting the numbers we had for the owner we had no response. I telephoned when we arrived but had to wait a further half an hour for someone to arrive with the key which was frustrating. The owner spoke no English at all and we barely spoke any Spanish so it might have been a good idea to have a heads up about this before we arrived. The villa was missing a few really basic things, such as anything to light the gas hobs with, only 1 and a half toilet rolls for the week, no kettle and lack of some basic kitchen utensils such as a bottle opener or spatula. Some of the drawers in the kitchen were missing handles and some areas had seen better days. The villa was clean and tidy, the outside area and pool was absolutely beautiful and if we were staying longer we would have definitely tried a bbq. We had a great week but you definitely need a car! The nearest beach is beautiful with a lovely bar /restaurant within 10 minutes walk of the villa. The town of L'Ametlla De Mar is only 12 minutes drive with a good selection of restaurants and bars. We also drove into the city of Tarragona which is about 35 minutes drive with plenty to see and do. Overall the villa just needs a bit of updating and care. If you want a very quiet week and don't mind a bit of travel then this is the place for you!

Buena casa, situada en sitio muy tranquilo, zona de piscina ideal con una gran barbacoa, por otro lado bastante descuidada y sucia, muchas cosas deterioradas (puertas, muebles, sofà). Los propietarios nos trataron bien, con mucha voluntad por solucionar problemas, pero la realidad es que necesita una buena reforma para hacerla confortable, y más respeto y cuidado por parte de todos los inquilinos que la han visitado con anterioridad y que han dejado huella de sus actitudes incivicas.

La casa es muy linda, la piscina ayuda mucho para el calor. La ubicación es inmejorable cerca de muchas calas y playas. Cerca también hay un restaurante muy bueno y un bar para los desayunos genial. Los anfitriones Jordi y Fran fueron de mucha ayuda y nos hicieron sentir en casa, altamente recomendado. No es un alojamiento donde te sientes huésped. Desde el inicio Jordi y Fran te hacen sentir en casa.
