We had a lovely stay at Bea's place near Hamilton, it was delightful, so peaceful, Bea was most helpful, we slept well, made some friends at the dances and look forward to coming back to this place next year, Lois and Garry, from Cheltenham, Victoria.

Bea’s studio was a good size and a comfortable space especially when staying more than a couple of days. The lovely old style Iron beds made into a king size bed was spacious with quality linen and a very firm mattress. The Kitchen had all that we required for our time, however we did find the smaller sized bar style fridge a tad of a challenge to fit all our food inside as we cooked every day, however this would not be an issue for folk staying for a short period and/or a preference for eating out regularly. The couch was comfortable and TV was fine with the usual limited channels available in the country. We were unable to connect to wifi later in the evening, however the connection and reception was fine during the day. Our visits to the Ansett Museum, Campe’s Motor Museum and the Hamilton Art Gallery were enjoyed and well worth a visit. We enjoyed Bea’s garden and the lovely views from the studio windows – we also enjoyed meeting and chatting with Bea and her husband.

It is a lovely renovated double garage with east-side terras as well as west-side porch overlooking the back garden. Always a place to sit in the sun or the shade. Bea (Gudrun) shared her homegrown tomatoes, salat, and sellery that made a tasty superfresh side dish. Bea showed us at sunset rare birds that frequented their neighborhood. We had a nice coffee with bea and her husband. Her tips to see kangaroos in the evening in Dunkeld were spot on! Kitchen was well equipped and freezer cold upon arrival.
