This place exceeded our expectations. We had ten kids with us and it was perfect for kids- the gameroom, the spaciousness, the little things like chalk-markers to write a message/your hometown on the door... there were personal touches everywhere (self-stamped envelopes with paintings of the house itself, goats milk soap in the tastefully decorated rooms, a basket of ingredients for s'mores and other goodies on the counter when we arrived...) that made our time in Winterport, ME special. Excellent host and communication. Thank you, Katrina and family for sharing your home with us!

The 1812 Pierce house was perfect for hosting my friends and I, who were in town for a wedding. The house was clean and well-prepared, and the beds (there are many) were comfortable. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.
