If I could give JP ( the host ) a rating of 10 out of 5, I would. He was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was perfect for us and offered great amenities. It was clean and well stocked with additional amenities. Had air conditioning. A perfect location for exploring the central part of Switzerland. I highly recommend this apartment and Sarnen as a location.

Our stay at JP's place was absolutely perfect. JP is an outstanding host. The apartment was immaculate and provided every amenity we needed. JP even greeted us with wine and treats and had stocked the fridge, too. He was available with quick responses and even made a call to help us navigate the very strict Swiss traffic regulations. His tips for enjoying the area were also very valuable. He provided directions and recommendations and even made us a restaurant reservation. With his advice we created family memories on our trip that are priceless. The community of Sarnen is charming and a very quick and easy drive from Luzern. A grocery store is right around the corner for anything else you might need as well. Again, this was a great place and we cannot recommend it enough.

We had a fantastic week at JP's apartment! It was perfect for our family of four. JP is by far the best AirBnB host we've ever had - greeted us with a chilled bottle of wine, six pack of beer and fully stocked kitchen. He achieved a perfect balance of being available (even on text for last minute questions) and giving us space. The apartment is over his travel agency, which meant that we could stop by in the morning for advice about what to do that day. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed to cook and we enjoyed several meals on the terrace. This part of Switzerland is unbelievably beautiful and Sarnen is a great, central jumping off point for exploring it. I liked coming home to a small town after a day of exploring, I think it was better than staying in Lucern. You can walk to the train station (about 10 minutes), but we were glad we rented a car. The lake in Sarnen is beautiful and has an awesome playground, if you are travelling with kids.
