We booked this property for the view and specific location for a very special trip. The property is titled Amazing View, however, it was not the case. Rather than providing timely notice of the construction/scaffolding, we were informed less than 12 hours prior to arrival. The apartment is definitely European small. The bunk bed does NOT have any railing. The mattresses and sofas are quite worn down in terms of support. No starter kitchen supplies, and no plates. One of the showers is very tight. One of the toilets doesn't flush very well. There are 84~ steps to reach the apartment. We were promised a price-reduction/refund, and based on that revision, it might be a reasonable deal. Communication and entering the property was easy.

La casa está muy bien, cafetera nespresso, tostadora, micro, lavadora con un par de pastillas de jabon, jabon y estropajo en la cocina, etc . Los sofás cama son muy cómodos (hay dos en el salon), habitaciones cómodas y 3 Baños. El baño de la habitan principal en realidad es un aseo, realmente no se puede uno duchar porque mojarías la taza. La alcachofa está justo enfrente y a poca distancia del wc. Nos facilitaron amablemente el transfer al aeropuerto a un precio razonable (70 euros en una furgoneta cómoda, dado que éramos 5 mas el conductor. Merece la pena, encontrar taxis para 5 no resulta facil y asi el chofer estaba puntual en el apartamento y llegamos sin sobresaltos. La zona es estupenda, andando al Coliseo, Panteon, fontana etc (entre 10 y 20 minutos andando con niños). Fuimos el 9 de noviembre de 2023 y la fachada estaba de obras por lo que no hay vistas, algo que debe reflejarse en el precio de forma significativa dado que es uno de sus reclamos. A nice well equipped apartment, absolutely the best location, Via del Corso just downstairs and all the attentions and restaurants within walking distance. Excellent caring and help of our host Giulia- thank very much! We will definitely come back.

Giulia's place is located in a GREAT area. First you have a beautiful view of the monument to Victor Emmanuel II and secondly you are basically in the middle of the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. I can't stress enough the perks of being in this area because everything is walkable and there is a 24 hour cafe right downstairs. Raoni was taking care of us while we were there, he was super responsive and friendly. I will note that we stayed here with just two people (husband and myself), if anyone is staying here with more than 2 people, it may be tight for American standards. The second bedroom is tiny and if it's for kids on the bunkbeds then it can be ok, but the bathrooms really only have 1 normal shower, the others are tiny and that's visible in the photos. The 4 floors of stairs were a lot at the end of each day (i have an ACL issue) but manageable although carrying the luggage up/down that first/last day was not fun. Overall great experience highly recommend!

The location and the communication were good but the place smelled of toxic cleaning chemicals that irritated my eyes and skin so we couldn’t stay there and had to move to an hotel. I guess they can fix that for future guests easily. The lighting in the apartment is awful, like a sci-fi set in annoying blue-white LED’s. A few things were broken like the bathroom doors. This was another one of those bait-and-switch Airbnb’s that pretend to be someone’s home or at least that sone one will host you, but are in truth a business with many sites and at the last minute they say “oh sorry I can’t meet you, my ‘friend’ so-and-so will meet you instead”, but it’s just an employee and the whole thing is commercial and you’re not really a guest being hosted, more of a customer being served. Might as well go to a hotel.
