We thoroughly enjoyed our return visit to Cedar Key to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Kate and Don’s cottage was the perfect base camp for exploring the island and waterways by bike or kayak. We spent most evenings taking in the beautiful sunset views from the dock or enjoying the local cafes and restaurants. Yes, the cottage is small, but it is very charming, tastefully decorated, and quite comfortable for the brief time you will be indoors, and the kitchen is well stocked for preparing lite meals. We’ll be back!

This was my second stay here. Kate’s place is a jewel not only for the cozy inside but there is nothing like sitting on the dock watching a Cedar Key sunset. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, I can’t recommend this place enough. For folks who do want to go into town, it’s 2 minutes down the road. This is my favorite of all the airbnbs I’ve ever rented!

We had an amazing time at Kate’s bungalow! She is a great host; super responsive with great local recommendations. We loved watching the beautiful sunsets from the covered deck while grilling and sipping our cocktails. We enjoyed kayaking from the property and seeing so many birds. Super chill and relaxing vacation! Thanks so much Kate!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at Kate's Cozy Bungalow on the Gulf, especially relaxing on the deck and dock with amazing views and serenity. The unit was exactly as described, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The AC was very effective keeping everything cool and at desired temps. Two very nice kayaks beckoned but we did not get a chance to paddle, this trip. I'm already looking forward to visiting again and will definitely plan on taking the kayaks out. We had a blast exploring Cedar Key and enjoyed excellent seafood and views. Our favorite restaurants were Steamers and Tony's. I already miss sipping my morning coffee and evening beverage on the dock overlooking the bay!

Great place to get away! Highly recommend! Businesses in Cedar Key tend to be closed early in the week, so just keep that in mind. We highly recommend Daily Grind for breakfast.
