We had a lovely stay in the most stunning beautiful surroundings. The house was spacious and clean and had everything you needed. The games room was an added bonus and the kids had a lot of fun. It was completely dog friendly and we all felt right at home, Nicola was a great host and we would definitely book again.

A lovely house in a beautiful countryside setting, with stunning views from the lounge and main bedroom. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is set on a farm with other houses rented out nearby on the same estate. Highlights of the trip included looking out at the Highland Cows and pheasants in the field just beyond the garden. There are loads of pretty villages nearby and it's about 35 mins to the coast. Lots of good hikes to do, we particularly enjoyed the circular trail by Thomas Hardy's house. We also enjoyed a bracing NY day walk on Chessil Beach in the pouring rain! For fellow dog owners, the area was great for local walks but the garden isn't quite enclosed as dogs could get under the gate at the bottom of the garden (we just kept ours on lead). One other point to make is that because it's set on a farm, there were lots of flies around. It was a relaxing NYE break (we appreciated the Xmas decor) - great for a large family with a dog - and we recommend the house. Thanks.

Perfect Dorset getaway Our holiday at Great Coombe stay was perfect for our 10-day, 3-generation getaway. When we arrived we came to find out that there were 4 additional rentals under Nicola’s superb management. Nicola was an outstanding host and the house itself was outfitted abundantly. The kitchen was well-stocked for dishes, glasses, and to fix our family breakfasts and dinners. The game room gave us space to play with the grandkids. And the grandkids loved walking the property and interacting with the cattle. Weymouth was surprisingly close, so we walked the esplanade and took in the rides on a good weather day. We got in a football game Wolves @Bournemouth. We also visited Dorchester, Bildport, and the Anchor in at Seatown. We also played a few rounds and the surprisingly challenging and hilly local golf course at Wolfdale golf course We highly recommend any of Nicola’s properties and expect a return ourselves in the future.
