The cottage is set in a lovely location and is a beautiful cotswold cottage. You don't get the airbnb feel since it's ran by a big company which has both highs and lows.Highs being the company was very responsive at fixing the shower that was broken (although couldn't work out how to have a hot shower it was cold) and the heating although we would turn off would come on in the night and be extremely hot in the house. (Better than cold) and we had a cot that wasn't suitable and they changed quickly. The downside being part of something big is the cleaning wasn't thorough so found lots of little toys under the rug, the rugs and sofas felt like they needed a deep clean.The up sides - the house has everything you need - kitchen is very well stocked and an Aga, a local shop just next door to get anything you might need, lovely roll top bath, great to have a separate room for TV and then fire so could have separate space from the kids.We would stay again but check the place was well cleaned

Pretty, secluded, comfortable cottage in a charming little garden. The village is beautiful, uncrowded and friendly. Only serious problem was the lack of any railings on the internal staircase which makes it very difficult for an elderly person to climb upstairs let alone carry any luggage. Unsafe for small children too.

We loved our stay at Hope Cottage! We found Longborough to be the perfect location for exploring some of the best Cotswold villages and many walking paths. We took a couple of walks right from the cottage and drove to nearby Broadway and Chipping Campden to walk some circular routes. Our oldest didn't pack any boots or wellies, but we found him walking boots just down the road at Trespass in Stow on the Wold. A must given the amount of mud we encountered! The cottage had a few pairs of wellies in various sizes. The cottage was very comfortable for a family of five, with the separate sitting rooms giving us room to spread out and enjoy different activities. The loft bed was the perfect cozy reading nook! Our oldest would add to mind your head as he hit his head several times on the low ceilings, but it's all part of the cottage charm. The local pub was very welcoming and we enjoyed having it and the village store so close by. It was the perfect place to unwind!
