The Willow Wood is a Timber Frame suite at Twin Creeks Trailhead Lodge and Retreat. It is nestled on the south slope of Diamond Ridge, a thousand feet above the seaside town of Homer, Alaska. The lodge opened for business in June of 2001. Two buildings provide year around accommodations for up to 16 guests. The rooms have fully equipped kitchens, wireless access and private baths and are ideal for single travelers, families, and groups. Willow Wood can be arranged with either two twins or a king bed and has a double futon hideaway. It is accessed via a short, gravel trail and is located on the second floor with views of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a private bath.

Sandra was great and very, very responsive. We got in a little later than expected and she was so nice about it! Hot tub was very clean and the location was private! I would definitely stay again
Very quiet and peaceful if you want a relaxing place to stay and close to trails and all the sights Homer has to offer.
Beautiful setting, nicely designed studio apartment, great hosts. Loved sitting in the hot tub in the rain under the gazebo.
Great peaceful place to stay outside of town. The host was wonderful and friendly.

The lodge is situated at one of the local trail system trail heads in a quiet, private setting with no neighbors in sight. Access to over 75 kilometers of Kachemak Nordic ski trails is at our front door for winter fun. The Homestead Trail system offers plenty to explore during summer months and offers up magnificent views of the volcanoes of the Western Alaska Range, Cook Inlet, and the glaciers of the Kenai Mountains.
The lodge is a short ten minute drive from town. Four wheel drive and good tires are recommended in the winter.

Your hosts Billy Day and Sandy Cronland are long time Homer residents who enjoy outdoor adventure and backcountry travel. Billy, a life long Alaskan, spends his time, when not doing chores at the lodge, exploring Alaska's wild places. Sandy, an avid nordic skier, teaches yoga here and around the world. She has over 35 years of experience in the study of therapeutic massage and is a certified yoga instructor. Sandy is developing 'what fascia likes' style of yoga that she is now calling Fascia Flow Yoga. A gentle movement option for every body. Together they enjoy backcountry skiing and travel in the tropics.
