The room was nice and clean, it was really hot up there though and having the window open for air meant the curtain couldn’t shut and the street lights all came right in, can also see into the apartments across the road. The street is really noisy at night but I could sleep through it so it was ok. When I first got there the kitchen was an absolute mess and the bathroom showers were really dirty and had mould but I guess that’s just what happens with a communal living space with 7 rooms! Location was great and the kitchen has everything you need. It felt really safe there. Washing machine if you need it too which is really handy. Overall it was a handy place to stay as a solo traveller. The hosts were responsive when I left my drink bottle behind and I got it back. I slept in a sleeping bag which was red and it left a pink mark on the sheet which the host charged me $18.21 NZD for.

Lovely apartment, very close to everything! It can get a little noisy outside due to traffic, but overall, it is a great living space.
