The property itself is beautiful! 180+ degree views of beautiful lake Oconee. Kayaks made fishing easy and fun. There was decent catfish to be caught right from the dock. The host is very communicative and helpful. Overall, we had an ok experience. The issues started with only a one day notice that the construction was ongoing right up to our check-in time. The cleaning crew did a nice job dusting as there was limited debris from the project. Unfortunately, an entire circuit was out in the home. Janice was quick to send an electrician who found a nail shorting a wire so it was good we contacted the host as that could have been dangerous. The property was overall clean with the exception of a cockroach in the kitchen and wet laundry actively running in the washing machine that we then had to switch ourselves. The upstairs bathroom toilet was off when we first used it and the drains throughout the home were slow especially the upstairs shower which Janice was quick to address.
