Great location, easy walk into the centre of the village. Parking on the road/pavement is fine once you get used to it. Property is well catered for, plenty of plates/ cutlery/ glasses etc. Terrace is a lovely spot for a glass of the local wine. Convenient location for lots of the small hill top villages.

La vue de la terrasse est superbe pour apprécier une soirée ou un petit déjeuné. Le village est vivant et animé part différentes manifestations (marchés, concert, expo…) les commerçants sont agréables ainsi que les restaurateurs, le centre ville du village est accessible a pieds en quelques minutes. Le point positif, un interlocuteur réactif à un oublie de literie (surtout avec une arrivée un dimanche) nous a réglé le problème, dès notre arrivée. Le petit point en moins et le stationnement, très compliqué dans la petite court du à un poteau électrique devant, mais possible devant la maison. Nous garderons un souvenir positif et des belles images de beau paysage de Cotignac et ces alentours. Une maison très agréable, confortable et dans une rue calme.

La Belle Etoile is a beautiful, comfortable and stylish house in a fabulous location. Well equipped and a lovely space (as beautiful as the photos suggest). Easy walking distance to Cotignac and with truly spectacular views! Unfortunately it does not have aircon (which we knew, and it is mentioned in the listing), but we underestimated the necessity! We stayed for a week during a heatwave, and as much as we loved the house, we could not recommend staying in the summer months; the heat was intolerable at all times of the day/night - even with the 3 fans provided. VaNa was a very helpful and responsive host and kindly brought a mobile aircon unit (at a cost to us, but sadly it was not effective). The terrace is well equipped but the garden is a little unloved (it could be beautiful with some care) - but wow, the view is stunning! Lack of parking was a slight negative too (again, we knew this but it’s worth mentioning as parking can be tricky in the village.

Nathalie was very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our communications. She met us at the location for check-in and walked us through all of the amenities and details of the house, and she was very flexible with coordinating the check-out since we had an early departure that day. The home was charming and beautiful, and had plenty of space and amenities to feel self-sufficient and comfortable. The best attributes are the gorgeous views from the back garden and the windows of each of the bedrooms, overlooking the town and cliffs. The place was also clean, and had a lot of character in its design and space. The walk downhill to town was always enjoyable and easy, and there was a parking spot right in front of the house. Highly recommend this place for anybody looking for an authentic, easy Cotignac experience just a short walk from the center of the village.

Accueil sympathique. Logement conforme à la description. Belle terrasse. Bien situé pour accéder au centre de Cotignac à pied. Possibilité de garer voiture devant la maison. Un bemol, l'électricité se coupait pendant la nuit à l'étage, obligé de descendre pour disjoncteur. Cela a impacté le chauffe eau car du coup douche froide. Mise à part ça je recommande.
