Absolutely wonderful stay! The garden is GORGEOUS and Martha obviously pours lots of love into tending it. It’s incredibly peaceful. Bed was comfortable, too! If you like it cold at night, the side windows have screens and you can leave them open to let in the fresh cool air!
Beautiful and peaceful garden place. It was wonderful waking up to such a beautiful surrounding. We really appreciated all the helpful communication the goodies left for us, Patick and Martha are great hosts! We had everything we needed, the place is extremely comfortable and clean. It was also very easy to take public transportation to different parts of the city.
What a lovely place to stay. I fully intend to go back. Peaceful, beautiful, and wonderful hosts.
First and foremost, Patrick and Martha are both incredible hosts, and I can't thank them enough for the lovely stay. They were proactive about providing check-in instructions, greeted me, and they made sure I was able to get inside without issue. They genuinely seem to enjoy hosting and exuded warmth. The space itself: Amenities are as described, and everything was pristine. The homemade granola (delicious!) and other provided beverages/snacks were an appreciated touch. There's a binder full of recommendations - parks, restaurants, walks, etc. The garden is stunning. The patio doors let in beautiful natural light. There's very little traffic noise, such that I could almost forget I was in the heart of Seattle! Other pluses: close to gasworks park, a lovely neighborhood, easy parking nearby, and fairly central to Seattle. It was easy and quick to get anywhere and everywhere I needed to go, whether by foot or by car. Definitely would stay here again!
Patrick’s Place is lovely. Perfect for one person or a couple that like cozy surroundings. The apartment is at the back of the house, so it is very quiet. The apartment is well-equipped and everything was spotless. The only down side is parking is limited. But that’s Seattle.

自我介绍
I am a retired public defender and internet developer. I currently work as a life coach specializing in dealing with end of life issues. My wife, Martha, is a practicing physician. We have two children, one just graduated and another is still in college. We travel to visit them and also try out new places. In the summer we love to be at home in Seattle to take advantage of the fantastic weather and all the amazing outdoor opportunities in the nearby mountains and islands. During the rest of the year we enjoy theater and musical performances, museums and lectures. We also like to hike and cross country ski and are avid sea kayakers. We can spend a week paddling and marine camping in the San Juan and Gulf islands or we can also drive 5 minutes down the hill from our house, plop our boats into Lake Union and paddle along the famous Seattle house boats, under majestic bridges and enjoy breathtaking views of downtown and Mt Rainier with sea planes landing and taking off overhead. Martha is passionate about gardening and our 100 year old craftsman home is surrounded by gardens and unique stone work. We believe that we live in paradise and hope that you'll also come and enjoy our beautiful city and Airbnb private suite.
