For us, as a group of guys who fish out of Stock Island 2-3 times a year, the location is perfect. You have a liquor store, CVS and a couple of restaurants in walking distance or a very short Uber ride away. The community itself is clean and neat; have stayed in Coral Hammock 7 times now in various units and it is pretty quiet, other than the roosters that wake you up at 6:00 AM. (This happens pretty well everywhere in Key West; not abnormal, just to be clear.) The unit was not "spotlessly clean" as advertised though. I stayed at this location in November 2023 for a non-fishing trip, just visiting family for Thanksgiving. Reported the mold in the downstairs shower and the moldy/musty smell back then. Come to May of 2024, first thing you smell when you walk in, must/mold. No bueno. My brother walked around a bit without shoes the first day and had 7-11 feet quickly. Not "spotlessly clean" at all. Wish I had more room to type. I'd not recommend the mold house though.

Great stay, loved the gated community, bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and the 3 porches were very nice.

Roy is a wonderful host! He gave clear and detailed instructions for arrival and his place was perfect for our family. His rental is very spacious and accommodating; we cooked all our meals at the property and the kitchen lacks nothing. We enjoyed spending time on the covered porches, there’s an outdoor grill and table as well. The house is well-kept, great water pressure, tidy bathrooms. Short walk to the neighborhood pool and the gated community feels safe. We would absolutely book again!

We appreciated having enough towels and two parking spaces. No issues with keypad. We were more than disappointed with how unclean the place was, and I’m surprised other reviews did not mention this. The listing name is “spotlessly clean” but the bathrooms and carpet were especially filthy. All three showers have mold and mildew, and the entire place smells a bit of mildew when you enter. The other disappointment was that rules were given for only 4 people allowed at the pool at a time per residence after the booking was made and paid for. The listing states that all guests can enjoy the pool, but rules are sent after booking and at the property. It’s odd that you book for one number of guests, but not all are allowed at the pool at a given time. Bring any basics you may need for the kitchen.
