Prachtig uitzicht! De grote ramen zorgen dat je een geweldig zicht hebt op de bergen. Het huis is ruim en alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt.

Book a flight, book a car and book this place! Fantastic, warm, cosy, clean, peaceful place. The views from the lounge (and decking/hot tub) are amazing. The scenes change all the time with weather (mountains, clouds, horses, sun set) and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights too! It's a really good bases to explore. The Secret Lagoon is 10mins away, also some waterfalls, walks and geysers are close by (30mins) but also great base to explore more of the island. We felt at home as soon as we arrived, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very quiet. We had a wonderful stay here, two couples, for three nights. Upstairs is a large bathroom, open kitchen and lounge (floor to ceiling windows for the views), double bedroom and twin bedroom. Downstairs is a king bedroom, another lounge with TV & utility. 100% recommend for family or friends - surpassed all expectations! Great comms with host Arthur and easy instructions for check in and all facilities.

We had a fantastic time at Arthur’s property. The view was absolutely stunning! Floor to ceiling windows overlooking a beautiful landscape, including Icelandic horses and mountains. The property was spotless, really toasty and cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic to relax in after sightseeing, overlooking the beautiful surroundings. It was very quiet and calm but only about a 10 minute drive to Fludir, which has a shop and amenities. A great location as a base for exploring the Golden Circle. Would highly recommend a visit to the Secret Lagoon in Fludir. Sadly we were unlucky with the weather and didn’t see the northern lights, but still really enjoyed relaxing looking out in the evening. Arthur was very responsive and had left really clear and detailed instructions. Thank you for a fantastic stay, we would come back in a heartbeat.

Has to be the nicest location we have ever stayed. The windows and deck provided stunning views of the countryside and surrounding farms. Between the views during the daytime, watching the horses in the field, and stargazing/aurora hunting at night we had no need for the TV. Truly serene. Great location also made visiting the southwest and south coasts by car very easy. The house was very clean and the detailed instructions provided by the host made getting there and settling in as simple as could be. Couldn't be more happy with our stay.
