It was a bit strange having a walkthrough door between the bedrooms - I’m not sure if that was in the description or not, but other than that it was great!

Beautiful location right by ocean! We had a great weekend stay here. It was perfect for 2 couples!

Such a sweet space. If you want an uninterrupted private view of the dunes, and have a soft spot in your heart for mid-century buildings, this is a quiet little gem. The building is from the ‘50s, but the radiant-floor heating in the main room keeps things cozy. The kitchen was beautifully updated, and has tons of supplies (but why no electric kettle?). Many new items of kitchenware, pots, etc. The bathrooms, like the rest of the unit, are spotlessly clean, but have not been renovated, so expect ‘retro’ styling! Everything works, and there are lots of places to sit and stare at the view - maybe one too many couches (one could use to be retired, IMHO). Our one complaint is on the management side - hey, Vacasa: check-in after 4pm and check-out by 10am means you really *don’t* get a full ‘night’ for your money. I feel badly for those who can only stay one night! Check-in by 3 and out by 11 would give people a more relaxed experience and still leave a decent window for housekeeping.

We feel like the listing was inaccurate. The description said ocean views but there is no ocean view. The view is of a grassing hill that you walk over to have access to the beach. Nor is it immediate access to the beach but a short walk. The description also said full kitchen amenities but there was no tea kettle. There was also no coffee. No cozy blankets or comfortable furniture. The condo has a lot of potential with a little love. We feel like if the description and photos were more accurate then we wouldn’t have felt as disappointed.

The unit has a fab location. Super easy to find, peaceful, and walkable. What did not meet my expectations was the cleanliness of the unit. The $92 cleaning charge did not align to my expectations of "clean". Cobwebs, dust, greasy fingerprints on the oven controls, and metal pieces (from maintenance?) left leaning against the wall adjacent to the kitchen. I did notify Vacassa and am awaiting response to see how they will address my feedback. The bedrooms do not have curtains to block out the parking lot lights. If you find comfort in a dark room to sleep, this will NOT meet your needs ... unless you bring your own blackout curtains.
